Robocop Trilogy
2 of 2 found this helpful The case itself is cool. I love how it opens.
The first two movies are my favorites, and everyone was telling me that the third one sucked. Guess what, they were correct. Being a huge Robocop fan, I forced myself to sit through the third film and give it a chance. After watching it, I wanted to kill myself. Robocop 3 is, without a doubt, the worst film ever in the history of time. If I had a time machine, I would go back and stop them from making this insult to the Robocop name. What a slap in the face to the original. That being said, I love Robocop and this is the box set for any Sci-Fi or horror comedy fan. A must have.
I like the commentary and deleted scenes from the first film. I never thought of Robocop as being representative of Jesus, and I found the director's comments on this rather interesting. The scene where Robo walks through (on) the water to save Lewis is supposed to be like Jesus walking on water. The whole concept behind Robocop as being this cyborg machine made from the near dead cop was kind of like Murphy being "resurrected".
Only drawback to buying this boxset is that it comes with Robocop 3. Oh well, nobody's perfect.

Kick-Ass - one where the title says it all
I sat down to watch this without many expectations. I read some reviews on the internet that said is was pretty good. I decided to buy it off of eBay because it was much cheaper than going to Best Buy or Wal-Mart. When I started watching the movie, I was blown away. I was entertained for the full 2 hours. I could not take my eyes off of it. Kick-Ass was one of those rare movies that had action, story, comedy, drama, and parody ...all in equal, balanced doses. I can't get enough of this movie. I usually say movies that I love are badass, but no. Not this time. This one is Kick-Ass.

Lep in Vegas
This movie is comedy-horror at its best. The Leprechaun returns once again in search of his gold, and he doesn't care who he has to kill to get it back! The movie takes place in Las Vegas. I thought it was an excellent choice. This is, without a doubt, the best of the Leprechaun series. Whoever made this understands that it is a comedy-horror, as the movie never takes itself too seriously.
*Spoilers*
The characters were what you would expect for a movie like this. I did not particularly care for the "protagonist" Scott, and when he got bit by the Leprechaun and started to change into a Leprechaun himself, I could not have cared less. There is a goofy (yet amusing in a strange way) death scene where that one girl gets blown up like a balloon. The magician character is such an arrogant jerk, we are glad to see him get sawed in half by our anti-hero, Warwick Davis.
