Good but...
1 of 2 found this helpful You will have to do some modifications to make this fit nice (as is explained in the video). I was installing on brand new van. You will need to hammer your door jamb to make bracket tight against the door. I did and spent some time with it (I am mechanical in nature) and now the brand new door doesn't align as perfectly as it once did. Only slightly off but I am type A on brand new van, I was disappointed. Maybe it was just me but why don't they make them so you don't have to hammer door jamb?
I also am not thrilled about the big logo/letters on black sleeve. It says to me "google how to break into me" and really anyone who wants to get in, needs to do, is use a sawzall behind lock against door to cut off flange and lock is useless. I got to prevent the casual drug addict from smashing front window when parked overnight hitting power locks and getting into van. They are generally not carrying a sawzall.
I also have a little concern about the black sleeve getting water between it and the lock (or the metal ring) and then freezing in the winter not allowing me to spin it to get the key into lock.
Bottom line: I like the concept but don't love it. It looks way better than the old mounts which I used to have on old van. I keep locks off when on job site and lock up at end of day so they work for me.

Fits dually front, not hitting center hubcap, and rear tires!
I took a chance and bought this. I could not find a review that definitively tells me will fit my 2019 Chevy 3500 front dually tire without hitting the hubcap that sticks out. It will. First there are several types of these out there. Others have rubber feet that sit the frame away from the tires. I didn't want that type.
The frame on this one rests on inside and outside of tire. The key thing for me was once positioned on the dually front tire I wanted to ensure the step would not hit where the plastic center hubcap sticks out. I adjusted the step up one position up from bottom (although you can adjust higher but then it makes the step much higher off the ground, it you only needed one inch higher I would drill two holes to make it work for you) and it clears hubcap by about 3/4" then with my weight on step and bouncing (to test to see if would hit hubcap) it was closer to 1/4" from hubcap. Fine by me. I also liked I could put it back in the box (with one step higher) to keep it from being smashed around when stored. Not sure about durability or how long paint will last, or when it will rust, but for the price, just buy it.
I primary bought for adding DEF (under hood, what brilliant GM guy thought that was a good place?), checking fluids, washing windshield, and fifth wheel hitch.

Must have for new LED dimmable bulbs
1 of 1 found this helpful Although a pricey dimmer, it is a "must have" to properly have effective dimming of LED's. I have three of them in my house when I changed the high hats to LED. One is wired as a three way and the other to a four way and works great.
The other switches (on same lighting circuit) still turn on and off the LED's at whatever setting the dimmer was last set at.
