Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (DVD, 1997)

Goofy, but highly entertaining

Jim Carrey, in the earlier stages of his career, was known to be a slap-stick actor. This is classic Carrey playing the role of a pet detector who gets pulled in to serious detecting. It is over the top, over dramatic, and highly implausible, but that is the point. While styles change, and society changes, tastes in comedy change as well. But, this movie is just as entertaining now as it was then. Just make sure you are in the right frame of mood to take in its particular brand of comedy and all will be right with the world...at least for the duration of the movie. Sure, your IQ might temporarily drop a few, but no where near as bad as Idiocracy.

AT&T Tilt 8925

I am a 33F and I purchased this item because it had a keyboard and an organizer for texting and keeping up with stuff. The thing that blows is that there is not a standard audio jack on the phone for the music app. Otherwise, the phone is the bomb. I put my schedule in the phone and now it alerts me 15 minutes before every appointment. All in one device with a camera, video, music, microsoft mobile, bluetooth, wifi, gps and 3g. And with the build in audio speakers, I definitely am not crying about the audio jack. I have been wanting an iphone for some time, but who needs an iphone when you got the HTC 8925. And it didn't break the bank like the iphone would have.
