Great product with a few tweaks
1 of 1 found this helpful For the price, this is a fantastic pole chainsaw for light use. It is easy to assemble, well designed and easy to start and run. The only thing that lets it down is the quality control, as a few tweaks were needed to get it running well. The pull start was bolted together too tight and would not return, and required disassembly. And the auto-oiler was closed shut when delivered, and it was wound in so tight that I broke the screwdriver that came with the chainsaw trying to open it.
The manual is easy to read by not very comprehensive - there was no mention on how to adjust the auto-oiler, only a mention that it had one.
Having said all this, the engine is strong and easy to start, and the whole machine is very solid in construction. The bar is a little wobbly at full extension, but at 5+ metres that's to be expected.
It's not 'pro use' as advertised in some places, but as a pruning saw to be used once every now and then, it's perfect.

Good quality, easy to install.
Solid built, well finished towbar with good instructions. The kit included everything needed along with extra cable ties and replacement panel fasteners. The generic wiring kit is quite straight-forward with plenty of length and good instructions. Only letdown was the splice connectors which were a bit flimsy and I managed to break two of them, so have a few spare on hand.

Great sound, features, and good fit. But no good for video.

Sound is very bassy, maybe a little too bassy. I mostly use spotify and have used the equalizer to drop bass just a little, and I'm very happy with that. The app also has an equalizer but the spotify one is a little more comprehensive.
The noise cancellation isn't as effective as most over-ear offerings, but for cases where there is a consistent, low-frequency noise (like sitting on a bus, or a plane, or being near traffic) it's great. They do still work in a more dynamic noise environment (like the gym or an office), but not as effective.
The only downside I've noticed is the sound lag - it plays half a second or so after my phone. So if you're watching video or playing games they really won't work well. I don't do this so not a problem. This isn't a big deal with music.
I've never drained the battery, but I have used them for maybe 8 ours over the course of a week without charging the case. Unless you're listening for more than 3 hours at once the rather low battery life isn't an issue. Again, for use at the gym they've been great.
I'm very happy with them and would buy them again. But if you're watching videos regularly these would be very frustrating unless you could figure out how to fix the input lag.
