The best 12ax7 available for Conrad Johnson PV line of preamplifier. Better balance and musicality than Telefunken and Siemens.

The best 12ax7

These are the best 12ax7 tubes for the Conrad Johnson preamplifiers IMHO. They are better than the NOS I’ve tried, and I’ve tried many at all prices.

The best modern tubes

I've used Amperex Bugle Boy, Seimens, Telefunken tubes over the years. I found that these tubes are the best tubes i've heard so far. Highly recommended.
