Shockingly good performance from a well designed budget speaker
I was very surprised how good these little speakers are for the price. Good imaging and pleasing tonal balance. They have a surprising amount of bass from such a small 4" driver. However, it is rear ported so they need to be a minimum of 18" away from the front wall to avoid boomy, muddy bass. I'm using it with a simple integrated amp with a tube front end and Class D output stage. Very easy to listen to due to the reserved top end. I've not heard anything better at $100.

Surprisingly full sound from a compact, inexpensive speaker!
I was surprised how good this sound bar performs by itself. Paired with my subwoofer via the sub out port, it fills the room with pleasing, balanced sound. It is one of the few products in this category where the alternate tone settings actually make the sound better! The speech clarity setting really helps when playing older films where the audio production was not sophisticated. For ~$200, it's an amazing deal.

Amazingly precise, quiet operation.
This sous vide cooker is astonishing. I control it from an iPhone app and it heats, times, and alerts me as to the progress. I was surprised how quickly the Anova heats the water. Once up to the desired temperature, it keeps the temp within one degree. Absolutely amazing. Quiet operation too.
