Didn't last long, dropped it once & it died/dead.

Didn't last long, dropped it once & it died/dead, my original/genuine Panasonic remote (~6 yrs old) has been dropped a dozen times without out stopping! Sticky buttons. Have to push firmly down on them to work. Direction/enter buttons the worst as per "Sticky/push firm". While I was aware it couldn't be programmed to suit my TV it's disappointing that it can't.
