Like it.

I got this saw as a used item. It seems well built, runs very well. I think it saws better than another lighter weight saw i have. The toolless blade change is handy, the chip blower could probably be better, and a light would be nice. Also, this particular saw tracks a little to the left rather than straight ahead. I think i can deal with that as long as its consistent. Wandering left and right would be very bad. I am pleased. Very good quality, i think.

So much good but...

It pains me to write this review because this saw has so much going for it. However, it has a problem which we will get to. First the good. It runs well, it has a variable speed control which is in reach of your thumb(handy) it has a light to lighten the line you are following, it has a blower to blow the chips away, the blades are easy to change without a tool and the base plate can be tilted without hunting up an allen wrench to loosen it because there is a handy lever.. Also the price was great for this refurb. Sadly there is one deal-breaker. The blade will not stay pointed forward but will stray to the left or to the right which makes it very difficult to saw accurately. Sawing and following a line is the purpose of this saw which it does not do well. It saws well but maybe not where you're wanting to go.
