Civilization II Test of Time (PC, 1999) atq

A masterpiece.

Civ 2 is such a classic. I consider it a masterpiece. It keeps you on your toes and thinking. It has great replay value. Civ 2 has more wonders, units and buildings than 1 without being too complicated. Definitely try it.

Super Mario Sunshine (Nintendo GameCube, 2002)

Challenging platformer with a unique feel.

A decent platformer which provides a great deal of challenge, but completable by the diligent. Similar to Super Mario 64, but introducing a new mechanic which can allow Mario to hover after a jump, move quickly or jump really high. Though the two latter aren't used too often. The game is very colourful, the graphics are good and the gameplay is tight, though at times a bit frustrating. I really like the hub world and the inividual areas they offer unique challenges, though collecting red coins and chasing down an antagonist are in each area.
