Disney Aladdin VHS New Sealed Hype Sticker The Classics Black Diamond 1993

A relic of an old time long passed

In terms of the movie, Aladdin is among Disney's best films and is worth watching. Amazing story, great animation (even for today), and likable characters, plus one of Disney's best villains. And if you wish to watch it in its original form, which means no streaming, no Bluray, no DVD, and absolutely no laser disk, then watching it on VHS will bring back memories of an older time that has long since passed us by. Just getting to experience it on the small screen, with a VHS player and on a VHS tape is very nostalgic. That said, in terms of which medium to watch it on, the truth is that VHS went out of style a long time ago (about 20 years ago as of 2025). More than likely people will watch the movie on streaming since that's the norm these days. In order to even watch this movie on VHS, you would need a tv that would still support VHS, a VHS player, and any other equipment needed. It actually isn't a complicated process, just not as straight forward to some extent. But at the same time, if you're someone who grew up in the 80s, the 90s, or even the 2000s (at least the early to mid 2000s), then you will definitely experience the nostalgia of seeing this film on VHS like it was intended for the time period it came out in. Just holding the VHS tape is something I miss alone. Being able to appreciate the evidence of the hard work the filmmakers put into making this barely hour & half cartoon for us to enjoy. I truly do miss the 90s and 2000s. Bottom line, is it worth getting? It depends on the type of person you are. For me, it was worth it. I recommend it, but only for those looking to take a trip down memory lane. If you can find a copy for a good price for an old VHS player, then it'll be worth it.
