Baby Martin Guitar
I owe a 1978 D-28.
Bought this little guy to take anywhere. It's awesome. Of course, it is not a replacement for the D-28, but it's a nice baby guitar that I don't have to worry about it getting damaged. It plays great and sounds big for its size. I think this would be perfect for kids to learn on.
I bought a new LX1E from Musicians friend, and sent it back since it did not have the built-in tuner. The electronics on this one is better than the current one being made by Martin. My guess, is that Martin has to keeps its cost down, so they now use a lesser expense Fischer pickup system.
This purchase is exactly what I wanted. I'm extremely happy.
