Decent for the money
I had a pair of these sights. As they come to you, the rear sight has garbage hardware....the front sight is just ok. That said, standard MILSPEC replacement parts for the A1 type rear sight will fit this rear sight. I rebuilt mine using NOS DPMS MILSPEC parts and it worked perfect, way better than it did when first purchased. I did the same for the front sight, by replacing the spring/detent and changing to a better FSP it was MUCH nicer than before.....and I STILL came in less than what a genuine pair of DD fixed sights (which these are clones of) cost. I’ll probably order another set along with actual MILSPEC parts to rebuild another set and run them on a new build. Brownells is where you can find the parts to rebuild these sights FYI.

One of the best
Disregard the review about these rails that gives them 4 stars entitled “not the best”. I own 3 of these Ergo rails, 3 Matrix Arms rails, 1 Midwest Industries rail, 1 Parallax Tactical rail, 2 Guntec USA rails, 1 Troy VTAC rail, 1 Troy Alpha rail, 1 Odin Works rail and 3 PSA rails....all free floats.
My Troy VTAC rail was replaced under warranty for being crooked on every upper I tried it on. It’s replacement is crooked too. My Troy Alpha rail is straight though. Troy stuff is often considered to be some of the best stuff out there and my experience has been hit or miss with them. In comparison, my Ergo rails have been easy to install, lightweight, SOLID, very comfortable in the hand, slim and really good looking rails. I have the 15” SuperLite Ergo rails in both Keymod and M-Lok. I have one mounted on a 458 SOCOM, one on a 223 Wylde carbine and another I’m saving for a build using a prototype Sabre Defence barrel I have that has an integral muzzle brake. The barrel nuts these Ergo rails come with are very nicely made, and often overlooked piece of any free float system. The packaging was good, the instructions were well written and they even tossed in a snazzy Ergo Grips sticker (not one of those crappy paper based stickers mind you).
This is a quality made in USA rail that is manufactured by a well established corporation that is very popular in the EBR community. Is it a “go to war” rail? Maybe in a length shorter than 12” it could be durable enough since it wouldn’t has as much leverage on it during a fall. It is a durable rail for sure, even in the longer lengths. It’s built for lightweight and more airflow around the barrel. This would work perfectly for a race gun/3 gun setup. I briefly had one of my 16” Bull Barrels installed under one of these Ergo rails to see if it’s lighter weight would help with the gun being front heavy....it helped immensely in that regard. Don’t listen to the guy that says “It’s not the best, but for the money what do you expect?”. That comment makes it sound cheap when it’s not. It’s a $200 rail that is made like a $200 rail. Sure, it’s not a Knight Armament rail or a Noveske rail price wise, but it’s build quality is no less than anything else out there. This rail is just as awesome as any rail I own, and I own quite a few. If you want to try something different then you’re in the right place. Like I said, it’s a great rail with a great barrel nut, easy to install and lightweight. All the hardware is quality (uses Torx fasteners) and once installed it’s solid, stiff and grippy while being slim and comfortable. Win/win.
