Fantastic Laptop!!
I bought this laptop a couple of black fridays ago and I'm hard pressed to let it go. It's a very well put together machine with a premium look and feel. The keyboard has very nice "clicky" tactile feedback, is backlit and has a 10key pad that I appreciate. Mouse pad is spacious and when clicked it feels like there is weight behind it. The only real hangup I have with this laptop is the storage. 1TB is great but the tech is ancient. 5400rpm is ridiculously slow, and if you find yourself constantly opening and closing your laptop moving from one client to the next as I do, it takes forever for the laptop to boot up. I highly recommend this laptop but I also strongly advise upgrading the storage to a solid state drive. I recently upgraded to a Samsung EVO 850 512GB SSD drive. Yes I lost half my space, but the speed and performance gains far outweigh the loss in storage.

1 of 1 found this helpful Very strong product. Well built. Screen is amazing. External sound is surprisingly good. I purchased an Apple Pencil and it works great with both drawing/writing apps as well as Remote Desktop applications. As an IT engineer I find it easy to use with providing remote support to my clients. Coupled with a LTE data plan, VPN and RDP to more powerful computers, I don’t really need to carry around a normal laptop anymore.
