A must for any practicing Tibetan Buddhist!

This cd has it all,The official Tibetan national anthem(before the Chinese invasion),An alternate "monastic" version of the national anthem(the best in my opinion),and all of the regional anthems to all the different provinces and areas of Tibet! A must own!

Great profound film!! But hard to interperate for most.

This film is a great feast for the eyes and mind!!Not at all like the trash that is comming out of Hollywood lately..... The film has a very intricate plotline and superb visuals.The main overtone of the film is a hauntingly beautiful spiritual/mystical mood. It is not an easy plot to understand if you are not schooled in depth in Western/Eastern Mystical/Occult philosophy.If you are not,then this film is not for you.You will not understand the film. Subjects hinted at by this film include; Kabbalah,Magick,Transcendentalism,in-depth Buddhism,Tantra,Tibet,reincarnation,illumination,self awareness,and enlightenment,all wrapped around the universal motif of the Tree of Life. I only recomend this film for those that can enjoy the deep mysteries of life. All in all this film is a gem! I can compare it with Kuberick's 2001:A Space Odyssey....an overall feast for the mind and senses!!

A must have!!!

This is the best example of 70's Anime at it's best!!This series created a fan following in the late 70's and early 80's equal to Star Trek and Star Wars.Even today this series holds it's ground as the best that Anime can offer. For newer Anime fans I would highly recomend this series because it was the first of it's kind.It made the way for Anime as it is known today.The artwork does show it's time a bit....but not by much! In it's time this series had the absolute best"attention for detail" artwork that had been seen to that date. This second season of the series(three in total)is considered the best by most of it's fans......and after seeing it again after all of those years again, I hold the same opinion. If you are a fan of Japanese animation...you MUST own this spectacular series!!
