With one in the chamber and eight rounds in the magazine every time it fails, after the chambered round is fired, to go fully into battery, and yes the gun is fully cleaned and oiled. I’m hoping this clears up, however, at this point, I would not count on it for EDC.

Yup, they're great!!!
Great sights, much better than the TFO sights from Truglo… the TFX Pro sights came stock on my Kimber Micro 9 Nightfall, liked 'em so much that I got a set for my Glock 19 (replaced TFO's). The U shaped back sight is great for quick sight picture at the range or doing USPSA shoots and in the dark they light up great, never felt better about keeping it ready at the bedside if and when needed.
