Solid pre-amp I recommend to anyone getting into turntables
I own two of these pres, and they are rock solid lil devices. You can actually adjust the gain and add some caps and filters to cut out unwanted noise. Only downsides are no power switch (not a big issue) and the power led is an unbelievably bright blue that most people end up covering with electrical/gaffer tape. It’s bright enough to light a dark room in blue… pretty distracting.

A smart speaker that actually works and sounds great
If you’re used to the low end smart speakers out there (rhymes with gecko), anything from Sonos is a breath of fresh air. Even better, if you like asking a speaker to play something, but don’t like giving data to mega corps, Sonos now have their own music-focused voice assistant, and all the processing is done locally (ie, there are no recordings of you living in the cloud). The app is a lot better than many HiFi smart speaker apps, it can play music from pretty much any source (even Plex and Roon, works with Apple Music too). Worth the price!
