Revisionist history
3 of 14 found this helpful I don't remember the events of my lifetime in nearly the same way Zinn does. One step more and he would fall off the left side of the world. The spinning he does is both transparent and deplorable.

Is this book for real or a sick joke
1 of 5 found this helpful My daughter had to read this book for school. I thought some of the other classics like "Lord of the Flies" were bad, but this one takes the cake. It is based on a society that has a monument to the man who created "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog's back", a phrase which contains every letter in the alphabet. The monument is falling apart and everytime a letter from the phrase falls off, it is no longer to be used by the people. At the end, only a few letters are left. Since the book is a running history, it can only use those letters still on the monument in the period written about. Cute theory - horrible book. Aside from those copies foisted on innocent high school students, did this sick book even sell 15 copies? We will burn our copy with great fanfare at the end of the semester. A Great Bicycle Trainer at a Great Price
This trainer is adjustable from the seat and cost $45. Twenty years ago, we paid $321 for a hydraulic trainer which was not adjustable from the seat. So much for inflation. It is easy to mount the bicycle, or in my case, a recumbent tadpole tricycle (one rear wheel). The only issue is that although the listing states the trainer works with 26" wheels, the adjusting bolt is not long enough to do so. I bought a longer bolt and the problem was solved.
