brackets to short
The problem That I have is the bar does not extend out far enough to put a foot on. I have to place my foot sideways to use the bar for entry. If the brackets were made 2" longer a persons foot could actually use the step as it was intended. Place your toe area on the step, it was to accommodate a person standing on the bar to lift you somewhat to raise your body for entry to the seat.. I will no doubt have to extend the brackets to extend the bracket an extra 2" to make it useable. Now it could possibly work for a child but not an adult. The bar is to close to the body with the bar almost touching the body..
