Very easy to fit and makes the car look showroom condition!
1 of 1 found this helpful Very straightforward to fit, hardest part was to remove the lower plastic grille clips.
One tip I recommend is there are 2 star washers which secure the old badge. Once the grille is removed it's best to break the plastic rods which they lock to using a set of pliers by twisting (break as close to the star washers as possible, ideally flush).
You can then gently lever the star washers off the old badge using a small flathead and reuse on the new one (they are supposed to be one use). By doing it this way they are not damaged and can be reused.

Excellent saddle that's easily overlooked
I now understand why everyone raves about these saddles and believe my saddle 'quest' is finally over!
Previously I had tried a Brooks Cambium C17 Carved (too hard), SMP Extra Gel (nose to wide and to much padding), Astute Star Lab VT (too flat), Giant OEM Velo saddle (to flat and narrow) and a knock off Specialized Power and could not get on with any of them.
I then decided to order one of these Fabric Scoop saddles based on online reviews and accidentally ordered the Radius by mistake.
Thought it was worth a go anyway so fitted it to my road bike (with a fair handlebar to seat drop) however the Radius is recommended for an "upright position". Having set it up so that the nose is 2 degrees down it has been absolutely perfect!
Completed a 3 hour/55 mile ride on the weekend with no pain whatsoever and I was also able to go out the following day for a 2 hour ride with minimal discomfort. Very impressed with the saddle. There is a good level of padding but not too much and the base has a good amount of flex which adds to the overall comfort.
What I have discovered is I prefer curved/dipped road bike saddles compared to completely flat ones. Saddles are very personal but if you are the same this might just be the one for you.
For reference I am 5' 9", 85kg, 110mm sit bones and medium flexibility.
In conclusion, don't be put off by trying a Radius on a road bike, for the money what have you got to lose!

Used on a classic Mini fuel tank with great results
1 of 1 found this helpful Perfect for refurbishing a 7.5 gallon classic Mini fuel tank.
Started with 1kg citric acid (ebay/amazon) mixed with 7.5 gallons of water and left for one week which removed all traces for rust. Citric acid can be disposed of safely e.g. pour down drain.
Then washed fuel tank out with clean water to remove all traces of citric acid (degreaser could also be used). Left for a day in the sun to dry.
Then sealed all holes apart from filler neck and poured it in and finally seal filler neck after - masking/duct tape will do. Sloshed about and left to rest on each "side" of fuel tank. About 5-10 mins total.
Drained out of filler neck back into can. Make sure all excess is removed and not left to puddle in fuel tank. About 3/4 of the can was drained. You could probably use a 273ml can on tanks up to 7.5 gallon.
Add small amount water to can which causes tank sealer to dry overnight so can be disposed of. Do not reuse or reseal lid after use!!
Leave for 5 days to dry before filling with fuel.
