Great High Quality USA 1095 High Carbon Steel
2 of 2 found this helpful This knife's steel is still made to last. I'll take 1095 high carbon steel over "stainless" any time. Once the patina sets in there's no problems with staining and you have yourself a blade that holds its edge better than stainless. Love the Old Hickory handles too. If you want to preserve the wood handles simply submerge the handles in mineral oil for 24 hours and wipe off access oil and use. Awesome knives at a small fraction of stainless knives that dont hold their edge. Thanks for staying real in the good old USA.

A Fragile Knife Is A Bad Knife
0 of 2 found this helpful To begin with, this knife appears length/width proportionate and has a very attractive appearance in the photos provided. However, once you have the real thing before you, you will see just how narrow the width of the blade really is compared to the photos. The thickness of the blade is not listed but, it's not very thick at all. In fact, it is thin and feels like it will not take much for it break into two pieces or more. The handle is also narrow and not very well put together. Over all there is nothing about this knife that I can honesty say is well made or at least of average quality. It is a piece of junk and, thus, dangerous to anyone who owns it.

Great Price For Great Quality
This leather sheath is both inexpensive and made with thick quality leather. The tan color is beautiful and with their assistance I found the perfect fit for my fixed blade knife. I'm definitely buying again. Thanks!
