Works great - just be gentle
1 of 1 found this helpful This timer control is an exact replacemnent for our old one, and it functions perfectly. Just like the original one, the stalk over which the timer knob fits is made of a composite plastic. These composite materials simply won't stand up to the torque applied hundreds of times over the course of several years and will eventually round off, leaving the controller knob nothing to grab onto. My best advice is to gently turn the knob each time you use it. It would be nice if this part of the controller was made of metal, but the relentless push to cut costs ensures plastic won't be going away anytime soon.
