Fits XP4 Ride Command with Door Speakers
These look like the factory Polaris doors for less than half the price. They fit my 2018 XP4 Ride Command with door speakers. The fit up problems that occurred had nothing to do with the Ride Command speaker panels.
I had to modify the holes and adjust 2 doors. Also be prepared to grind some of the door skin plastic to provide clearance for them to shut. Overall I’m pretty happy as the fit is as good as some factory door lowers I installed on my 570 single seat ACE’s.
Be sure to loosely install the new frame then the lower skin to check the fit to the door sills. Then put your factory door skins back on and then lastly adjust the door bolts if needed. You will need to trim some plastic with a Dremel or air grinder.
I also had two frames that did not fit up well. One I tweaked a bit and the other I opened up the holes in my factory door frame. Remember that the lower skin and the factory outer skin may have a gap between them so don’t expect a tight fit.
I probably didn’t need to open up the holes on the rear door frame but I was expecting a tighter lower skin to upper skin fit. Try and loosen bolts and also note the sequence in which you tighten them has an affect as well.
I’m probably going to stuff a rubber seal in there to keep water out.
The Z brackets that fit on the front doors by the latches do not line up well at all and need to be bolted up first before you tighten the other two at the bottom of the factory door frame.
I had to tap one of the holes on a rear door frame as the threaded piece on the back side was welded in the wrong spot.
Still a good deal to be had here. Happy installation!
