Best for Chicken butchering, but will work for any meat.
I bought this to cut up home grown chickens, I haven't used it yet to do that, I learned about this knife from a clip about curing your own bacon, viewed on "School of Traditional Skills". I had to have one, and this one was the best price I could find anywhere. The price of this knife has increased since I bought it, in fact it went up before I even received it. Even with the price increase on this Knife, it is the best price you will find. If you butcher your own meat, you need one of these knives, I specifically wanted one that had the high carbon steel blade, and this one has it, it will rust if you don't take good care of it, but it can be sharpened to razor sharp!
