2021 4Runner Rough Country 3” Lift

I put this lift on myself, but I will say the advertising was a bit misleading. Rough Country stated that the lift could be put on with “conventional tools”. Nope. You will need a spring compressor and fairly large pry bar, both of which I had to search for and borrow. Made for a long day. You will also have to have the vehicle aligned afterwards. The shop I went to told me they couldn’t align “altered suspension” vehicles. All being said, I might recommend just having a 4x4 shop do it all in one day. It would have saved me a lot of running around to be honest, and time is money. Now that the lift is on with new tires, it does look great!
