Excellent HBA
It does exactly what you'd expect it to, and works very well. Mine is running on a TrueNAS VM in Proxmox using IOMMU. Make sure your VM is set to UEFI mode, if it's set to BIOS you will get a bunch of errors and won't be able to use the HBA. Even though Broadcom doesn't state it's compatible, you can use this with SlimSAS to 8x Sata cables to run Sata HDDs directly.

Play it
It's a better game than I had been led to believe. The environmental interaction is higher than a lot of modern games. A couple minor mods fix some of the 'mid 2000's syndrome' all games of the era suffered from.
