Enjoyable to read and very educational
First hand accounts as to 'what went wrong' during sail crossings or voyages that would lead to the total loss of the vessel. All are surprisingly well written (with the exception of one or two that are disjointed) and proved to be enjoyable to read and informative. This book is full of useful advice after the fact, learning from other's mistakes or miscalculations. Even if you have only a moment to spare here and there, the stories are short enough to read one or two at a sitting. From one sailor to another, two thumbs up.

Design Evaluations of Twenty Sailboats
1 of 1 found this helpful This book follows a format that breaks down the pros and cons of twenty different cruising sailboat models from almost as many manufacturers.
Even if you are looking at sailboats that are not subject to this book, the information concerning basic design principles that make a SEAWORTHY cruising sailboat will carry over into the evaluation of the make and models you are concidering for yourself.
A good read, with humor here and there that keeps it from being dry.

Perfect fit...
These were an exact match to replace the old and 'beyond help' drip pans for my GE stove.
The fit was perfect, and my stove looks new again.
