A little too much.
When watching the previews this movie looked hilarious but when my wife and I went to see in the theater we couldn't stand it and actually walked out after 30 minutes, this was the ONLY movie I ever walked out on. I also gave it another try when I saw it on TV and watched it all the way through. I think the only reason I didn't like this movie was that everything in it was a joke. Kind of like how Naked Gun and Hot Shots movies make jokes of almost everything, but this movies raises the bar and literally makes jokes of EVERYTHING that is going on. The only thing that made me laugh was the baby rolling down the hill. Everything else was just too much crammed together with no breathing room. The movie does have it's funny moments but with that said I would recommend just watchig it when it airs rather than buying the DVD unless you can get it for $2 or less, shipped.

The Breaks will make your side hurt!!!
The Breaks is a great ghetto comedy that went under the radar. I saw this movie accidentaly went I was flipping through the channels and caught the 2nd half on HBO. This movie is just hilarious. "The Breaks" comes from the mind that brought you "White Mike" from the "The Wayans Brothers Show". After seeing the 2nd half of the movie I had to watch the 1st half. There is a lot of parodie in this movie including the "Pawn Shop" scene from Pulp Fiction featuring "Love Butter". If you like movies like the Watermelon Heist and CB4, then you will love "The Breaks".
