lightweight with awesome sound
love this bass!! was amazed at the sound. factory set up is always out of whack so it took a while to tweak the neck and strings to get it just the way I like to play, low but not too low. even when it's unplugged you can hear the sound resonate all through the bass .I slapped on some rotosound brite steels,45-105's and it sounded like a piano. was very skeptical at first since I also own the USA Fender Geddy Lee jazz bass but Fender did quite good on these american pro precision basses I must admit. smooth action on neck and easily playable and quick to get around even though I can't get it as low as my Geddy Lee Jazz bass but all in all it's a good bass. downside is they don't send the 3/16 Truss wrench to tweak the truss rod or strap or allen wrenches for bridge adjustment and I had to order them...bad on you Fender :( tsk tsk.... but all around it is a really good bass :)
