Cross Century
Had the Cross Century fountain pen in black and gold since 1989 and am SO glad they have retained the style and design of the model and extended it. I now have the fountain pen, biro, pencil and lastly the rollerball. The styling may not be to everyone’s taste as all the group are slim and may not fit well in some people’s hands. Even though I have large hands I find the design of them perfect. The matte finish with gold highlights looks perfect, understated but outstanding. The cap connects to the body of the pen with a reassuring click.
I LOVE the style and design of the Century classic group of pens - not the v2 and they are somewhat chunkier.

Versatile case
After watching a video on YouTube with Peter McKinnon I was determined to get one of these. I use if as a sectioned container of leads, batteries, chargers, lee filter adaptors. It keeps everything in situ and stops it getting tangled. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to keep all those essential extras safe and all in one place.

It is used all round the world in rowing clubs and gyms as the machine to go to due to its reliability and ease of use. With the new PM5 monitor it can connect to a smart phone via the ErgData app which at the end of a workout can update your data to Strava, or any other fitness sire you use and also to the Concept 2 logbook. Learning to row properly so you don’t just yourself or get put off fro trying too had too soon is essential and the site Dark Horse Rowing , with YouTube videos and and on line trading planes if you want, will guide you through your introductory sessions and make you realise using C2 is a GREAT way to get fit and lose weight. They are and investment as they are not cheap especially with some people trying to sell them for twice the retail value but hang in there, you’ll find one at the right price and close enough to pick up. Maintenance is EASY - on line videos and YouTube take care of that.
