John Deere Hood replacement
I thought replacing the hood on my LS160 would be an ordeal; it's not. Four screws and the old hood was off; same screws re-installed and the new hood fit perfectly. Apparently the sun baked and deteriorated the old hood which made it crack and break into pieces. Hopefully, this new hood will last another eight years. It appears sturdy and well engineered. Study the required parts before ordering. I thought that I'd have to replace all the parts down to the bumper. That's not necessary.

Last digital camera with view finder?
This may be the last of handy digital cameras with a view finder. Look through the view finder, compose your picture, then press the button. Most, if not all, contemporary digital cameras have the "view finding" on the back of the camera. That's cute, but more often than not, the sun interferes with viewing the shot. In darkness, the little screen is filled with dark, shadowy figures, making composition very difficult. Not with the Powershot! A handy digital that makes composing and shooting simple.
