Better portaiture
3 of 3 found this helpful Should have bought this lens 15 years ago, images are just so much better than slower fstop lenses of equivalent length.
It has a beautiful rendering, subject is imaged sharply and then just impressive blurring of the background which result in a pleasing 3D effect.
Built like a tank, will still be working in 30 years time.
