"Slavery by Another Name: The Re-Enslavmentof Black Americans from the Civil War to World War II"
I would add this book to my library in order to attain in-depth accounts of this 'peculiar institution,' that Blackmon details. He cites personal accounts to give the reader a more vicarious view of the lingering horrors of the enslavement that darkens the history of the United States.

Most precious gift
This is a graduation gift to my granddaughter for her academic achievement in earning her B.S. degree. Though I haven't heard from her, I have no doubt she will grow to appreciate this, as this Holy Qur'an in this interpretation is the BEST gift on earth I could give her. In time, she will grow to appreciate,cherish and to pass this Book to her own grandchildren. I could not have given her a more precious and valuable gift if I had spent all the money on this earth. I too have two of this precious Book in this interpretation.
