Kwik-Sew Swim and Action Book worthy!

An excellent book to have in your Sewing repertoire! A great basic foundational book for making swimsuits, leotards and leggings. Basic patterns are included *not all books still have patterns intact*which provide a jumping off point for your imagination. Though pictures are dated the information within is timeless. There are ideas on how to create different swimsuits from the basic pattern. I thought it would be possible to make a tankini swimsuit from cutting pattern in half. Or make simple bralettes. Or elaborate on the legging pattern. So many ideas possible. Kwik-Sew older patterns are so good! I had already purchased out of print KS swimsuit patterns so I was very pleased with how patterns were written. And this book did not disappoint!

3 Beautiful Christmas Stories by Max Lucado

Max Lucado is a marvelous writer! I’ve yet to find a book of his that disappointed me. He has a wonderful writing style. This Collection of Christmas stories are beautifully written. Three short simple stories: The Angels Story (loved it), The Christmas Candle (so good) and The Christmas Child (equally good). They remind you the reason for the season. The hope is so warm and needed in our world today. It’s all so simple in such a hectic commercial current world. It’s a must read for Christmas. Take the time to enjoy this simple uncomplicated collection of stories. I will purchase this collection again and again for Christmas gifts.
