One of my favorite scents...
Fresh, clean and unpretentious...Citrus notes are very evident, but not overpowering. It's a scent that always has folks asking, "what are you wearing?" (In the good way!) Great to see the price come down and the availability to go up. It was a tough find for a few years and there was some real price-gouging going on! The scent of sanity has returned!!!

An excellent read with a diverse selection of dynamic poems and poetic vignettes...
In "Brown Skin and the Bread of Life" the author has offered readers a compelling and very personal look at the life and art of a Christian poet and a Black man in contemporary America. It contains a number of highly engaging reflections on race, religion, history, and culture. Terry E. Carter is clearly of writer of great skill and a student of many schools of poetry and literary lyricism. The rhymes flow liberally in this book, making it highly accessible to young adult and adult audiences. Terry's writing is not at all profane and it's filled with story-telling that is both inspirational and uplifting. You'll enjoy the message and the method of the rhythm and reason of Brown Skin and the Bread of Life, book one in a trilogy of poetic works by a gifted writer and a spirit-filled observer of urban life.

Excellent poetry from a first-rate writer and cultural observer!
Brown Skin and the Beautiful Faith is the author's second book of verse and returns successfully to the themes of faith, family, history and culture that made Brown Skin and the Bread of Life a literary standout. Terry is a very gifted poet who writes in a variety of styles for wide audience appeal. if you're looking for a wonderful window in to the spirit and soul of Black America, "Beautiful Faith" is clearly a good place to start.
