Typical RAM Quality Product
This RAM case is great for protecting your GPS. The construction is what you expect from RAM - Top notch.
The only problem I have with the unit and why I'm not using the case anymore is the screen glare. I think the
glare is caused from the plastic screen cover that is in the case and the GPS screen not bright enough to compensate for use in the bright sunlight. I can see my GPS on the m/c without the case. However when I put the GPS in the case I can barely see the map because of the glare on the plastic screen cover in the case. I'm using a Garmin 50LM unit which is designed for use in a vehicle not a m/c. I have a friend that used a Garmin Zumo unit which is designed for use on a m/c and the screen is much brighter than my unit. The case works well in most situations except direct, bright sunlight. If you want a case to protect your GPS I don't think you will find a better one than the RAM. If you can get driving directions in a headset when you cannot see the screen then this unit will work just fine for you. My GPS unit and m/c are not compatible with using a headset.

Poor Quality - Did not work right out of the box.
This unit has good features however two of them do not work. The USB and the SD Card playback do not work. I've tried playing regular format and MP3 format on both and nothing works. It also does not have a shuffle mode for CD playback. If I hadn't thrown away the box i would send it back.
I do not recommend this unit. There are others available for equal or less money.

Item wasn't stitched correctly . When attempting to wear the lanyard the Corvette logo will only show on one side.The photo of the lanyard shows the Corvette logo showing on both sides. I've tried twisting the lanyard every way I could but when the lanyard is worn the logo is incorrect. I will not buy another item from this site. Going to use the lanyard to hang junk in the garage. I will not wear something that is this inferior.
