Unexpectedly efficient stove!
I have made and bought several hiking stoves over the years. Simple homemade alcohol stoves to more problematic and heavier ones. I got the z6m6 on a whim and have been intrigued since day one.
The first plus of this little stove is that its little! Lightweight, breaks down and stows away anywhere.
The second atvantage is how it can burn two types of fuels. It took only a handful of small sticks to burn a fire that impressively boiled water quickly. Also, by burning wood you can burn as long as you need heat.
Next the deep dish alcohol burner didn't make a ferocious flame like other dish stoves I've made. I also found it to be an excellent holder for a shorter alcohol stove that stayed below the top part of the z6m6. Or remove the dish and place a good size beercan alcohol stove inside.
Another cool aspect is the stoves design. At first glance it looks like a cheap flimsy wanna-be but it has several "oh yeah" design features like the attention to detail in how the 4 side's tabs are arranged for maximum strength and will only go together one way
CONCLUSION : The tabs needed a bit of tweeking to optimize their interlocking feature and it helps to engrave the different panels for assembly time

Motorcycle application
1 of 1 found this helpful Unit is bigger and heavier than I expected. The suction cup mount didn't perform well when attached to my Harley's windshield as the weight of detector caused it to bounce about. I ended up putting it on top of my front brake resivoir with a large thick rubber band to hold it in place. It works well for my 25 minute commute and I've had no problems with it's Auto shut off or short battery life. The one issue I have is the 2 blue lights that flash to alert you. They're to small and blue is an ineffective color choice to get your attention. Keep in mind I'm on a Harley so audiable alert tones don't help. In the daytime I never see the small lights go off. I have to keep an eye on the unit just like mirrors, speedometer, gauges, traffic and everything else.
It's not a bad detector and for a car I'm sure it's fine, but for a motorcycle I doubt I'd buy it again.

70s revisited
Way back when the world was flat and I was a teenager; 1970s, we had some cool lighting effects in our "party rooms". But nothing like this little lamp!
I've started learning drums and set up a spare bedroom for it. Seemed natural to set it up with blacklights etc. This light packs a huge wallop for its size and all the color choices via the remote reach every mood you can have.
They thought of everything when designing this gadget. Color options, flash mode or steady on and my favorite the sound activated mode.
Dont waste time with the cheaper versions of this lighting. I bought one without the remote and it was cool for about 3 weeks then started squeaking and the green led crapped out. Im glad I spent a few extra bones for the better set up.
The only cons are very minimal and perhaps just attributed to me being me. They would be that it doesnt have a micro usb cord and the on button on the remote is hard to see in dim lighting but easily fixed with a drop of bright paint.
You wont be disappointed with this light. My set up is in a 10 x 10 room and its perfect.
