More punch...

... in my opinion, than the regular SK2 (which is great!). Used with a new Aquarian Hi-Frequency reso head and kickport, playing jazz, country, top40 and classic rock. The cheaper non-SK2 version may provide a similar sound, but you won't have the dampening system.

Tablet safe, but housing cracks easily.

Dropped it once (3-4ft or dining table height), and while it protected my tablet, the actual casing broke.

Excellent for the money!

Surprising definition for these earphones. I shouldn't be surprised though, because I've owned their higher end studio headphones for years. I bought these for smartphone use on the road. The balanced EQ is perfect for me; crisp vocals, and smooth bass. (I play keyboards and drums; these are not suitable for on-stage in-east monitors.)
