Amazing and also portable!
This product is really amazing and perfect for anyone on the go. It has a small footprint and portable enough to take along if you travel enough. I work off of a 2016 MacBook Pro and have four 2TB SSD filling the enclosure. My MBP only has a 500GB HD so I needed significant space with significant speed.
The Thunderbolt 3 connection gives speeds that will this the drive you work off of. Only downside is the short Thunderbolt 3 cable provided with the enclosure. Get the longer one made by Apple. But there is a difference between USB-C and Thunderbolt 3. Your Apple charge cable is USB-C and will not work with this device (that cable transfers data at USB 2.0 speeds - just 10 Mb/second and you need the 40 Mb/second cable).
I run three of the 2TB drives in RAID-0 and use the fourth as my backup and export drive. The speeds are freakishly fast!
Buy this and fill it with quality SSDs and you will wonder how you ever lives without it!
