Robert Larson 800-1800 Honing Guide by Robert Larson 800-1800 BRAND NEW

Crude machining. Chisel hones out crooked because aluminum notches to hold chisel are too crude.
Chisel hones out crooked because aluminum notches to hold chisel are too crude. I've seen online videos to alter the guide by using files, but if the left/right axis is off by even a little, then your chisel will sharpen/hone crooked. Bummer, because I used it with plate glass and fine sandpaper to hone my hollow ground chisels and it makes for a good hone with great control to slowly eliminate the burr. You get what you pay for. The design and machining are worth just about $15. Too much flex and no available adjustment to hone square and true.
    Sander Pad 5 Inch Hook & Loop for Porter Cable 333, 334 rep 13904 13909 RSP29

So far, no different than OEM.
I've run my Porter Cable 333 sander for about 15 years, and it has more power than any newer DA sander I've used. It's a serious workhorse. The only thing I don't like about it is the OEM pads lose the hook and loop hold in a relatively short time, so I thought I'd try this aftermarket pad. So far, so good, but I really won't know if this is any better until I continue to run it for a few months. This aftermarket pad was almost half the cost as OEM and I had to try something different.
Intex Pool Easy Set Type A Replacement Filter Pump Cartridge (6 Pack) | 29000E
    Aug 22, 2017
Doesn't really work for Type A.
Inside diameter of the hole is too small for type A pumps: Type A is 2" diameter, but Type C is 1-5/8" diameter. I suspect the manufacturer (china) expects you to use force to jamb it onto the protrusions, but the filter is too lightweight (cheap) to handle the pressure required, so you're likely to just crush it. However, if you make two small cuts into the rubber/plastic using a utility knife (both sides of filter) it works as a fix. The Type A filter that the manufacturer (china) supplies with new pumps is much more heavy duty and actually fits like it should. These cheap Type A/C filters can be found on Walmart shelves, but you're really not saving any money. Wow, not allowed to mention manufacturer name on review: shouldn't be tough for you to figure out. Junk. Good luck with customer service. I'm on my fifth disposable pool (glutton for punishment). Things keep getting more useless as we progress to larger pools. I dare you to try phoning company to discuss available accessories or warranty issues. Keeps the landfills busy though.
