Be careful of what you buy
Totally hasn't worked. I purchased this a year ago for an elderly woman who turned 100 years old last year, and has trouble hearing. I thought this would be a great gift for her. I gave it to the home she lives at so they could set it up for her. When they finally had time to hook it up, they told me that it wouldn't work so I took it back. Long story short, I finally tried it myself, a year later. We have our own system purchased through Costco which has worked wonderfully for over two years. Since I am familiar with TV Ears, I finally decided see if I could figure out the problem. Well, I realized the problem why it doesn't work; it totally won't sit properly in the base to charge. It is a much older unit than the one we purchased two years ago so it is not compatible with ours. So all that money out the window. Since it has been so long since I purchased it, I don't expect anything in return, but would be happy if I could recoup some of the money I spent on it.
