Bolan’s beginnings
1 of 1 found this helpful Why is Marc’s songwriting so magical? It’s difficult to pinpoint why, but from his very first single, The Wizard, his voice, his sound and his style have a unique fairytale quality so impossible to define.
Mainly I got this just to have the early demo’s Song For A Soldier and Reality on cd - previously they were only out on vinyl - but was pleasantly surprised to find a stereo mix of his first single on here as well. The only caveat for me is finding SAN Francisco Poet so far down the track listing, divorced from its natural partner, The Third Degree. So many great and weird songs here, it’s all irresistible.

Great disc
The cd is great - strange American glam - if they just would have bent the back cover (it was folded to fit in the package ( duh - just put it in a bigger package!) - good svs tho all the same
