Hidden delight from the post-britpop era
Britpop group's second (and final) album shows great maturity though the members were only about twenty when it was recorded. Bright 60s pop influenced production juxtaposes with world-weary lyrics.

About as good as consumer VHS gets.
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this for one feature—the S-VHS jack on the back that enables higher resolution playback. So the picture looks as good as you'll get from videotape. Smooth operation and nice remote. Caution: the VCR is obsessed with setting its clock; if you fail to do so manually it'll shut itself down, so you have to unplug it for a few minutes to reset.

1 of 1 found this helpful This nice deck has a specific feature I've never found on another tape deck. Specifically, the minutes-and-seconds counter operates in fast-forward and rewind mode. (Most models with this kind of counter only operate while the tape is playing, not while winding.) This is very handy if you're making a mix tape. I wind to the end of the side, zero out the counter, then rewind to the start, which gives me a readout of, say, -46:20, the remaining time on the side. As I get to the last 5-10 minutes of the side I can start picking tracks that I know will fit perfectly.
