Terribly loud for no reason
2 of 3 found this helpful As soon as the probe comes anywhere near the skin, the device starts buzzing really loud. Having an alarming sound play when you haven't even managed to hit the follicle is really distracting and unnerving.
Like various other hair removal device, despite making an utterly unnecessary sound, nobody thought to add a volume dial, or an off button. Worse yet, it does this even if set to "0". Usually, "0" means off, but clearly, "0" is just a recommendation for this device.
Honestly, the effectiveness of the device is irrelevant at this point. Getting a tiny needle into a tiny follicle is a task that requires a great deal of dexterity and concentration. And it's impossible to concentrate when the thing keeps buzzing at you. I have half a mind to open the thing just to remove the buzzer. There's absolutely no justifiable reason why this "feature" should have been added in the first place.
As a side note, the thing came without batteries. And it uses a 9V battery, the type with both pins on the same side. I see absolutely no reason why a simple (and cheaper) AA or AAA battery couldn't have been used instead.
Overall, this could have been a nice product, if not for deliberately poor design choices. Removing the buzzer, using regular batteries, and adding a "safety" button which you would only press after the probe is already inside the follicle, would have made this a great product. Adding a conductive gel pad instead of relying on salt water would have made it perfect. Instead, it's a failure by design.

Do not buy
The product came with various required cables missing. Even after purchasing extra connectors and connecting everything, I still haven't gotten it to work. Not sure if I'm missing some piece, or if it's outright broken. Chances are I'm going to throw it away. It has been a complete waste of my money.
As a side note, it's also extremely heavy.
