Further is not necessarily better, consistant distance is always better.
I immediately liked the way these clubs looked behind the ball. Everyone told me that forged clubs were harder to hit and less forgiving than the old callaways I had, not true!!! My mis hits go beter than before, and when you flush it you can count on a consistant distance, and trajectory, plus I can actually work the ball a little left or right if need be. I don't know why they didn't continue to produce these irons for a longer period. I demo'd all the new clubs, got fitted, could find any iron near this good. After one month I'm extremely happy with the Diablo Forged Irons.
