Glob Stick
1 of 2 found this helpful It is a half round piece of clear plastic with some crystals inside. Exposure to UV or sunlight charges the crystals which then glow dimly for and hour or so before fading away. After 2-3 hours, it is dark. If you want a night light - buy a night light. For camping there are plenty of inexpensive LED flashlights - some with solar chargers. Avoid this item as you will be disappointed. .

Very Useful
Well made, has a belt clip. I keep it in the kitchen so I can be warned of approaching storm . I also take it on hkes in the woods. Shows distance to lightening strike, I purchased two as gifts for friend. Highly recommended.

Worth the search
I first bought this book while in Junior High school for 50 cents as a paperback from the school book order program. Knowing a little about history, I was rolling on the floor then. I've lent my copy out to many others since then - and still have it. A great easy to read book that is very funny. I tracked down this hardcover version as I want to keep it around. If you are seeking some light reading (and laughs), this is the book.
