Gret Cam!

Couldnt install software from cam. Had to download it from their web site and then update the camera bios. After that, it worked perfectly. Easy to use and perfect for those quick shots. Not one I would use for family affairs, etc., but great for spur of the moment shots. Software is easy to use and even burns DVDs.

Fantastic camera

I have had this camera since it first came out. I teach a digital photography course and have 6 others (Sonys and a Nikon). This camera has become my favorite and so I bought one for my personal use. Be careful, however, as the large screen can crack if you aren't careful. One of my adult students cracked my work one. It doesn't affect the photos but sure does affect your view in the LCD panel. Canon battery lasts for many hours and I wouldn't buy a different type replacement. One of the nice things I liked about this camera that no one mentions is that you can zoom in and out while using the movie mode. A great camera, beautiful shots, easy to use, easy-to-view screen, an all-around great point-and-shoot.
