Good sized cane with good roots.
My plant arrived very quickly. It was well packaged and undamaged, The cane was of good shape, hight, had pleanty of buds on it, and a strong and healthy root system. It is now sprouting leaves nicely. Good value for money and a lot of care taken over the dispatch of the plant, excellent.

great idea
I am using these now sitting on large sheets of cardboard to keep the weeds down and slugs away. The slots to keep the bags ridged are the right size to put chimmney or drain rods through, and then you can attatch them together to make a row or collumn look and stay tidy. I strongly recomend doing that. You will be very supprised how much compost you can fit into each bag, so be ready to fill with good stuff - it may take you a while to mix up enough, but remember that once it is done your raised bed will produce food for years. The handles make moving them much easier, but they may be too heavy for one person to drag along once filled, let alone to lift. You could use perlight to keep them lightweight, or empty them easily with a shovel into a wheel barrow for moving. The first batch I purchaced last spring are showing no signs of deterioration outside in all weathers, so I would say they will last very well, packed away in winter or outdoors. I was eating veg from these into December.
