Does an ok job with a little effort for beginner purposes.
I bought this mixer to experiment with recording and vlogging. With a BM-800 type condenser microphone with the phantom 48v power this mixer supplies, it can deliver fairly good sound. The audio output is two mono 1/4 jacks, which I have a cable that feeds the 1/8 stereo input of my sound card. Having this cable is important, as there's no USB audio output stream. This unit seems to be more of a standalone karaoke design that is used without a PC.
DO NOT power this unit via USB on a computer, as it draws more than the USB 2.0 spec can provide. The provided adapter is barely adequate, and sometimes "stutters" when plugged in. I use a better quality Samsung adapter rated properly for 2 amps. I think it should have been designed with a normal power adapter instead of the USB plug.
The instruction sheet provided is almost useless. You are on your own.
I've found that this unit does what I need it to do. The output is fed in to my sound card, and you need the twin mono LR phono cable output for the 1/8 stereo sound card input (not supplied). There is a USB port for playing MP3's (?) and Bluetooth functionality that I have not checked out yet.
This unit does an ok job as long as you have the proper cables and power it with a good adapter. But it could be improved.

Nice little mike for the price.
This is a very simple condenser mike, and it does a fairly good job. It does a good job for voice for Skype, etc, and does much better than built-in mikes on typical laptops. You may not want to keep it too close to your speakers because it's sensitive and will give feedback. I find that having the front label facing you is the best position: that is the direction the electret capsule is pointed. Nice little mike for the price.

Very good results, even for a novice distiller.
I never tried making any alcohol before, and I wanted to give a shot at making vodka. I used 16 liter plastic pails and dissolved about 3-4 litres of sugar in them. I also added blueberry puree in two, and just a quarter cup of molasses in the other two. I used only two tablespoons in each pail, and the temperature was around 21 degrees celsius. This yeast works very fast. On the second day I could hear the fizzing of the fermentation. I left it about a week and then distilled the result with a simple homemade still. I have a very high percentage alcohol that has to be diluted to vodka. There is an unpleasant taste and smell, which I think distilling two or three times would remove, and maybe using something like a Brita water filter. This yeast works very well, and I used only half the package. I'll definitely get more of this.
