You get what you pay for...
The price of this device made it pretty tempting to roll the dice on quality. Unfortunately, things didn't work out. I tested it with four different Slimport devices, and it would only work when being held in by my hands with a good amount of force. It's worth shelling out 3x the dough to get it right the first time. Buy nice or buy twice.

Great Pico Projector
I was originally looking for something with an auto focus, but none of them had the brightness factor to make them very useful in moderate light settings. The only other Pico Projector that matched the lumen output was the ZTE Spro 2 which costs more, is larger, and is a stand-alone android device.
This is definitely a more basic projector that has wireless connectivity (which I think should be a standard for all pico projectors). Anyhow, the wireless feature is great on android and Windows. Though it doesn't specifically state anywhere, it does support wireless display for certain Windows devices on its android cast mode.
Speakers on all pico projectors are terrible, but it does have the standard audio out jack. When I use my Surface Pro 3, I actually just make the sound come out of my Surface speakers.
This thing is a great alternative to a large TV. Prior to making this purchase, I was thinking about buying a TV for my 5 month business trip. The 13" supplied hotel television wasn't cutting it, and I knew it would be a hassle trying to sell the TV at the end of my trip. I can take the pico projector home with me and on future trips. I'd highly recommend this for people who travel and students living away from home.
