Not My First Choice for a Display Box
The quality of the wood in the box is lacking. It's a soft type of wood which is very light in weight. I have purchase oak, cherry and walnut boxes in the past from other companies which were of much higher quality, but, of course, the prices for those boxes were significantly higher. I bought this box I've recently been unable to find the higher quality boxes. Now, in my case, I will not be able to actually use this box as the glass was shattered when I received it. Having said that, the glass in the box appeared to have been a good quality glass and the glass pane likely weighed more than the rest of the box.
